This week's assignment is pretty straight forward: Pick a character and write a 500 - 1,500 word first person POV journal entry.  The entry must recount a specific day.  When and what that day is to the character is entirely up to you.  It can be about an already pre-established event (i.e. the Nine Tails' attack on Konoha, the Uchiha Massacre, etc ( Read more... )

Now that we've uncovered some interesting facts about our favorite and least favorite characters ( see assignment #1), its time to utilize them to craft a short story.  Using one detailed fact for each character (favorite/least) write a 500 - 2,500 word story that further explores it or creates an instance to exploit it.

Since we're writing fanfiction we don't need to come up with characters for a story:  we already have them.  For the most part their personalities have already been well established, but I'm willing to bet we each have our own interpretations and opinions of them despite or because of what we've seen.
